Biography
I never screamed when I saw a spider...or a mouse or snake. As a country-dweller and nature-lover, I spent a lot of my childhood on the ground getting a bug's eye view of the world. Most of my art is an extension of what I did then--drawing, painting, and making things out of rocks, leaves, mud, insect parts, etc. Adult human beings do this too, in their shops and factories; however sophisticated and far removed from nature their processes and materials may be, their source is still the same. I would rather make art, and remain close to that source of all that we have, to the awesomeness of Nature, her beauty, mystery, and danger. InspirationThe Woodlands.
